It all started with a film camera and handmade props. After having my daughter, my passion for photography grew much stronger.I always had this idea that when I became a mom all of my dreams would be put to rest for a few years until my child was old enough that I can come back to it. As time went on I realized that I was standing in the very moments that I want frozen forever. This is how Etched In Grain formed. God gave me this gift of being a mother and this passion to document it the way I see it. Throughout the years I have cherished every photo album I have ever made. Turning this hobby into passion. Giving this talent to show all mothers that documenting life as you are will be the most cherished moments for years to come.
To me, photography isn’t about creating something, it’s about keeping something.
The people you love. The moments that build your story. The days that might feel ordinary now but will mean everything later.
When I’m with you, I’m not here to make things look perfect or staged. I’m here to slow things down, to notice what’s already there. The real connection, your natural laugh and the comfort of being yourself.
I’m drawn to the moments that often go unnoticed, the simple gestures, the small pieces of life that remind you what matters most.
Years from now, when life looks a little different, I want you to have something honest to come back to — something that reminds you how it all felt.
